Gambling does contribute to the wealth of a country but may be not to the lives of those who get addicted to it.

It is true that gambling is a form of amusement and relaxation but too much of it may not be good. Addiction to it may result not only to the loss of money, but also to the loss of careers, relationships and even sanity.
